John H. Spector has been a practicing CPA for over thirty years. He has advised top managment of both domestic and international companies on a broad spectrum of accounting, tax, business, and financial aspects. He regularly consults with businesses regarding mergers and acquisitions, managment buyouts, financing alternatives, venture capital finding, stategic alliances and joint ventures.
Following his graduation from the Boston University School of Mangement, John was associated with Arthur Andersen and worked in their Boston offices. He has extensive experience providing tax and accounting services to a variety of businesses. He also lectures on a variety of tax and business topics.
John's "hands on" experience with business management and business development has assisted the growth of many companies, taking them from the start-up phase to their sale to a publicly traded company.
Being closely connected to the veterinary field for most of his career, John has consulted with many veterinarians regarding selling and/or purchasing practices, has prepared practice valuations, advised on partnership formation and dissolution, and has assisted practices with managment issues and business systems. He has also worked closely with many veterinarians regarding tax and accounting issues specific to verterinary practices.
